Wassily Kandinsky. Color sounds

Exhibition December 5, 2020 − February 14, 2021
Tomsk Regional Art Museum (TOMH) invites you to visit the exhibition “Wassily Kandinsky. Color sounds ".

Viewers will be able to get acquainted with the originals of the graphics of the great artist, the founder of abstractionism, as well as really see and hear art in the multimedia room, where the works will come to life. The exposition includes the rarest graphic works from the series Xylographies, Klänge (Sounds), Regards sur le passé (Memories of the past), as well as colorful lithographs from different periods.

The opportunity to see the originals of a world-class artist is a great value, especially in modern conditions. At the same time, for this exhibition, the multimedia zone has additional significance. Wassily Kandinsky was synesthetic - he saw sounds, heard colors, felt the dynamics of the movement of a point on a plane. The multimedia room will allow the viewer to experience this extraordinary experience for himself.
