Inspirational Beethoven. Symphony in pictures

The Leopold Museum hosts an exhibition “Inspirational Beethoven. Symphony in pictures ".
The exposition presents an amazing artistic realization of all the musical movements of Beethoven's Symphony No. 6, known as "Pastoral Symphony".
At this specialized exhibition, a unique painting program, an ensemble of paintings, for the music hall of the Villa Scheid enters into a multifaceted dialogue with the works of Gustav Klimt, Max Klinger, Karl Moll, Alfred Roller and others; shows how Beethoven became a source of inspiration and a starting point for representatives of Viennese modernism fighting for renewal and recognition in the visual arts of the late 19th century.
