Graphic arts! Five centuries of German and Austrian graphics
Exhibition December 12, 2020 − July 3, 2021
Montreal Museum of Fine Arts (MMFA) hosts an exhibition "Graphic arts! Five centuries of German and Austrian graphics ".
The exhibition features over 90 works, including several remarkable works on paper, which span over 550 years of German creativity. Some of these works have never been exhibited before, while others have not been shown for several years. Also included are very important recent acquisitions of the museum.
The exhibition provides museum visitors with an unprecedented opportunity to trace the technical and cultural history of Germanic and later Austrian graphics.
