Tate Gallery Liverpool invites you to visit
exhibition of works by Alice Nisenbaum.
Visitors to the gallery will be able to see an exposition of the artist's works, incl. two new large-scale group portraits and eleven individual portraits. The exhibition of paintings is complemented by three films, one of which documents the creation of a new work for Liverpool, as well as paintings created over the past five years, including the London Underground: Brixton Station and Victoria Line 2019, the artist's largest composition to date.
Alisa Nisenbaum (born 1977, Mexico) is a New York-based artist best known for her vibrant large-scale portraits of community groups. Inspired by the dedication of leading Liverpool employees, the artist has created a series of new paintings by NHS employees from Merseyside who have worked tirelessly for their community during the pandemic.
