Lawrence Egerter. It's better here than the opposite

Exhibition October 6, 2020 − May 9, 2021
The Parisian Musée des Beaux-Arts Small Palais (Petit Palais) hosts an exhibition Lawrence Egerter. It's better here than the opposite. ".

Within the exhibition, which includes more than fifty works, the author intends to rediscover himself for the public and for the Petit Palais collection, combining aesthetics, poetry and sensuality.

Since childhood, Laurence Egerter had a passion for paintings and antiques, encyclopedias and how-to guides, museum catalogs and images. In 1993, she left France for the Netherlands, where she lived and worked to pursue her studies in art history and then visual arts. Fascinated by masterpieces, as well as the smallest objects of everyday use, she tirelessly admires the beauty of things and the infinity of their perception. The photographs, sculptures and textiles that Egerter creates are proof that the ghosts of our past can be played with. On this unexpected journey, Lawrence Egerter accompanies us through centuries of art history and creates a new museum.
