Kunsthalle Nuremberg holds an exhibition
“Barbara Probst. Street, fashion, nude, still life ".
The exhibition includes photographs by Barbara Probst, created over the past 20 years of creativity: street scenes, close-ups, still lifes, nude bodies, studio productions, landscapes and fashion photography.
The work of Barbara Probst is distinguished by a special process of creation: a series of images, consisting of up to fourteen separate images, capture the moment simultaneously from different camera positions, which are connected to each other by a trigger controlled by radio waves. This multidisciplinary view of the same situation allows one to see it from different points of view simultaneously, without changing the place: a visual paradox that counteracts fundamental parameters of perception. Because people can never look at the same scene at the same moment from different points of view.
