Georgia O'Keeffe. Greatest Artist of American Modernism

Exhibition April 20 − August 8, 2021
The Thyssen-Bornemisza Museum presents the first in Spain retrospective of the artist Georgia O'Keeffe.

The exposition contains more than 90 works by one of the brightest representatives of the American fine arts of the 20th century.

The exhibition offers a comprehensive overview of Georgia O'Keeffe's career, from works created between 1910 and 1920, which made her a pioneer of abstraction, to her famous flower paintings and New York views, which led to her being recognized as one of the key figures of contemporary art. The culmination of the artist's work was her paintings of New Mexico, which arose from a fascination with the landscape and cultural characteristics of this remote region.
