Dulwich Art Gallery, London offers to visit the exhibition
"Travel in painting".
The exposition acquaints visitors with new acquisitions and old treasures of the gallery of painters of the 17th-20th centuries, united by the theme of travel.
The works for the exhibition are handpicked by eight curators from eight countries, including Yemen, Sri Lanka, Italy, Pakistan and Ireland, based on their personal life stories and preferences. The project seeks to explore the contemporary relevance of paintings by artists such as Poussin, Canaletto, Pinaker and van de Velde, revealing the importance of migration to ensure a dynamic cultural exchange of ideas.
