Volgograd Museum of Fine Arts named after I.I. Mashkov presents the exhibition project
"Surrealism is Me.".
Visitors will see original graphics created by one of the most famous artists of our time - Salvador Dali. Also, for the first time in Volgograd, three surrealistic sculptures made of glass will be presented.
The exhibition "Surrealism is Me" introduces the viewer to such world-famous graphic series as "The Mischievous Dreams of Pantagruel", "The Divine Comedy", "The Bible", "La Fontaine's Bestiary", Salvador Dali's "Caprichos Goya", "Faust" and "Decameron". In total, the museum will feature 89 graphic works, as well as 3 sculptures made of glass.
The collection is provided by PS Gallery, a contemporary art gallery known throughout Russia for its exhibitions and cooperation with the State Hermitage Museum. Today, the gallery houses Russia's largest collection of Salvador Dali's works - graphics and unique objects made of glass and metal, a list of which is constantly expanding.
