Women on the move: 150 years of creativity

The Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts is holding an exhibition "Women on the Move: 150 Years of Creativity".
The exhibition consists of paintings and sculptures of women artists from 1811 to the present day, provided by the museum's collection and private collections.
Many of the exhibits are created by women who were famous at one time, but have since been superseded by their more famous male counterparts. An important aim of this exhibition is to inspire a new generation of visitors, scholars and collectors to appreciate women artists.
