Stasia Grishina will present a report exhibition at Gallery 9B, which is the outcome of her residency in Nizhny Novgorod. For a month she lived and worked in the gallery space, exploring the city and its contemporary culture.
In the gallery space the artist has constructed an installation consisting of objects and a series of paintings. The main subject of the exhibition was the frustrating departure of the modern hero from his homeland, society, family and himself, which invariably brings him back to the situation of choice and the need for self-determination.
