Dürer: The Journey of a Renaissance Painter

Exhibition November 27, 2021 − February 27, 2022
The National Gallery of London is holding an exhibition "Dürer: The Journey of a Renaissance Painter".

Featuring paintings, drawings, prints and objects, the exhibit recounts Dürer's travels through Europe, bringing to life the artist himself and the people and places he visited.

This is the first major British exhibition of German Renaissance painter Albrecht Dürer in nearly 20 years. It brought together loans from museums and private collections from around the world, including the striking Madonna and Child (c. 1496/1499) from the National Gallery of Art in Washington, which had never before been seen in Britain.
