Permanent memorial exhibition "Sergei Eisenstein's Cabinet in the building of the Cinema Museum on the territory of the All-Russian Exhibition Centre, presents a new format of acquaintance with the great director to a wide range of domestic and foreign viewers and specialists.
Sergei Mikhailovich Eisenstein (1898 - 1948) was the greatest director of world cinema, historian and theorist of cinema, art historian, artist, philosopher, teacher. Eisenstein is truly the Leonardo of the Soviet era, the study of whose legacy reveals all the new dimensions of his talent.

At the heart of the exhibition "Sergei Eisenstein's Cabinet" are over three hundred memorabilia - furniture, household items, personal belongings, textiles from Sergei Eisenstein's apartment at 54B Potsakhaya Street. Eisenstein's museum also includes a unique collection of prints and arts and crafts from Russia, France, Mexico, and Japan, photographs given to the director by his great contemporaries - Charlie Chaplin, Albert Einstein, James Joyce and others, books in several languages with Eisenstein's notes, among them art books from various countries, publications on the history of fine arts and theater, works on psychology and other sciences.
