From June 29 to July 27 in the New Exhibition Hall of the Museum of Urban Sculpture opens Olesya Kot glass exhibition "Inside and outside.
Olesya Kot is the pseudonym of Olesya Vladimirovna Feigina, a hereditary glass artist. Olesya Kot was born in 1967 in Leningrad. She has been drawing since childhood, graduated from the City Art School, the V. A. Serov LVCPU and the V. I. Mukhina LHU in 1991. Since 2016 has been active in exhibition activities. Member of the Union of Artists since 2018.
The main idea of the exhibition "Inside and Outside" is to capture the moment of life frozen in the accumulation of light, giving rise to a reflection on the need to preserve it, on the importance of every living thing, on the preservation of natural resources - clean water and clean air.
The exhibition includes 17 works: these are the previously exhibited sculptures "Spring", "Blockaded Nights", "Northern Waters", "Decrets", "Thaws", "Cloudy. Without Changes", as well as 11 new works, the names of which will be invented by the visitors themselves during the exhibition. In the original interactive format everyone will be able to come up with his own or vote for the already proposed options for the title. Thus, each viewer can feel like a creator, involved in the art.
