Exhibition of war posters

Exhibition July 14 − August 28, 2022
The National Exhibition Center "Ukrainian House" hosts exhibition of war posters.

Visitors will be able to see more than 100 works by 38 authors, including Alexander Grekhov, Boris Filonenko, Anton Logov, Nikita Titov and others. In addition to posters, the exhibition features comic strips created by illustrators in the form of war diaries, which have become a way for artists to share their own experiences and feelings.

Since the first days of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine by Russian troops, many artists have made the choice to act: to speak here and now about the war - without distancing themselves. The visual images they created became voices of resistance at public rallies in Ukrainian cities and around the world, resonated in the media, and were replicated by the thousands in social media posts. In their works, the artists manage to express the complex range of emotions and horror of the events that all Ukrainians are experiencing and going through today.
