Avant-garde: from Russian Archaic to Modern Art

Exhibition April 18 − May 14, 2022
"The presented works testify to involvement with sacred origins, national origins and archetypes, which concentrate symbolism, style, aesthetics, worldview, imagery, ideology, the national idea of the Russian visual image," says art critic and author of the idea of the exhibition Igor Dudinsky.

"The example of Russian art vividly embodies the philosophy of the transition of eternal, deep traditionalism in permanent avant-garde as a way to join the immaterial, spiritual space of the XXI century", - says the exhibition curator Vasilisa Litvinova.

The project includes works by Irina Pecherskikh, Igor Dudinsky, Klara Golitsina, Igor Litvinov, Vyacheslav Shcherbina-Sibirsky and other authors.
