An exhibition about how we feel

Artistic Arsenal (Mystetskyi Arsenal) presents the project "An exhibition about our sensations.".

The focus of the exhibition is on the sensory experience of war and the place of art in it. Visitors will see paintings and sculpture from the museum's collection. Part of the exhibition was a documentation of the war experience of the Arsenal staff.

The project shows how war affects our perception of art as well as museums and their role in contemporary conditions. In the text for the exhibition, the curators note that the war changed the plans of the Artistic Arsenal team, forcing them to seek artistic correspondences to their own feelings: "the ambivalence of our emotions and thoughts is what we are trying to say with this exhibition."
