"Joan". Jubilee exhibition of Zhanna Melkonyan

From 9 to 15 June in the all-Russian Museum of decorative-applied and folk art will take place personal exhibition of Zhanna Melkonyan, honored artist of Russia (1999), member of the Union of cinematographers of Russia, member of Moscow Union of artists, professional art Director, costume Studio "Mosfilm".

The exhibition will feature costumes made by Zhanna Melkonyan, for the movie "Anna Pavlova" (directed by Emil Loteanu), "Moscow does not believe in tears" (Director: Vladimir Menshov), "Unexpectedly" (Director - Gennady Melkonyan), "Time to fly" (directed by Alexei Sakharov), "Life is beautiful" (directed by Grigory Chukhrai) and many other films.

Visitor will be able to learn how to create images of Lyudmila, Catherine, Antonina, Nicholas and the other characters of the film "Moscow does not believe in tears", which received the Oscar in 1981 for best foreign film. The costumes you can understand the process of creating the image, to penetrate in that era.
