Family is the soul of Russia
Exhibition June 30 − August 5, 2018
The Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve is the second time that a large exhibition project "Family is the soul of Russia". The exposition is devoted to the basic values in the life of each person - love, family, children, parents, home.
A year ago this project was realized on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Family Day, love and fidelity, and its success convinced the organizers to make the exhibition annual.
In addition to the planned display of paintings by famous masters of painting from the collections of Russian museums, a competition was announced for the relevant topics. This important social initiative, which was able to unite artists of different ages and degrees of training. Last year, the Organizing Committee received more than 450 entries, among which the jury identified the winners who took part in the exhibition in the Tsaritsyno Museum Reserve. This year there were 5000 entries! And the winners were not easy to choose.
Also within the framework of the project in the Kazaksky Hall of the Grand Palace of the Tsaritsyno Museum-Preserve there are paintings, drawings and sculptures from the XVIII-XXI centuries from the collections Tretyakov Gallery, of the ROSIZO Museum and Exhibition Center, the Tsaritsyno Museum-Reserve, Pereslavl-Zalessky Museum-Reserve, Tver Regional Picture Gallery, Rybinsk Museum-Reserve, Tula Museum Association, Sergiev Posad Museum of Toys. Most of these works are devoted to the theme of childhood.
