In April - an exhibition and lecture in the Kunsthalle in Bern; other exhibitions: Museum Antrib; the galleries of Bury and Louis Kara, Paris; Sydney Janis Gallery, New York. Participates in the 26th Biennale in Venice. A panel for a large meeting room of the UN building in New York. Scenery and costumes for ballet staged by Jeannina Shara in Amboise. 1953 Traveling exhibition in Japan, exhibition at the Gallery of Modern Art, New York, at the Art Institute, Chicago, and San Francisco; exhibition of colored sculptures in the gallery of Louis Kare. Lecture "Modern painting" in Brussels. Illustrations to the poem by Eluard "Freedom". 1954 Mosaic and stained glass for the University of Caracas, commissioned by Raúll Villanueva; stained glass window in Caracas for Innocente Palacios; stained glass windows for the church in Kurfèvre; preparatory studies for the Memorial Hospital in Saint-Lo, opened in 1956. Exhibits paintings "Country Walk" and "Great Parade" in the House of French thought; exhibition in the gallery Kara. 1955 The first sketches for the “Battle of Stalingrad”. A trip to Czechoslovakia for the Games. Wall painting of the Gas de France building in Alfortville. Gets the Grand Prix at the Biennale a San Paolo. Retrospective exhibition in the Lyon Museum.
