«Gull» was opened in August 2017. The gallery is located in the very center of Odessa, on Ekaterininskaya Square. Its founder was the gallery owner and curator Dmitry Bannikov. Gallery activity is focused on work with collectors, art dealers, artists. Our collection includes more than five hundred artworks performed in such art forms as painting, drawing, sculpture. The focus is on the Odessa school, painting the second half of the twentieth century. The artists of key trends in the history of the development of Odessa art - social realism, Odessa non-conformism, conceptualism, trans-avant-garde, contemporary art of the 2000s are presented. Among the presented works there are works of such classics of the Odessa school as K. Lomykin, V. Zhurakovsky, O. Sleshinsky, Y. Yegorov, A. Freydin, V. Marinyuk, V. Ryabchenko and others. There is also a large collection of Odessa graphics - drawings, watercolors, etchings and linocuts. Sculpture of small forms. Consultation of private and corporate clients on the formation of collections of investment quality, management and long-term maintenance of their value can also be distinguished among the main activities of the gallery. analysis of collections or individual objects of art; assistance in the selection of paintings for the interior. Non-commercial projects of the gallery are a research platform. «Thin industrial complex», founded in 2015 with the aim of popularizing Odessa art and exploring the peculiarities of the Ukrainian art market, as well as a land art festival «Web», held on the territory of the Kuyalnik estuary in 2014, 2015 and 2017. The gallery also actively supports young Odessa artists, giving them the opportunity to use the workshops in the building of the former Odessa meat-packing plant.
