Aristarkhovich Kobtsev

Kobtsev Aristarkh Aristarkhovich (Russian pref. Kobtsev Aristarkh Aristarkhovich, April 6, 1884, Odessa, Kherson province, Russian Empire - February 28, 1961, Odessa, Ukrainian SSR, USSR) - artist, citizen of the Russian Empire and the USSR. A graduate of the Odessa Ostromensky private art school. From 1909 to 1922 - a member of the Association of South Russian Artists. In 1918-1922 he was a member of the Society of Independent Artists. From 1922 to 1929 he was a member of the Kyriak Kostandi Association of Artists. Since 1938 he is a member of the Union of Artists of the Ukrainian SSR. All his life he worked in Odessa. Over the years of his life, Kobtsev wrote more than 1000 works of various genres.
