The Sverdlovsk Regional Museum of Local Lore (SOCM) named after O. E. Clair is the largest museum association in the Urals, with branches located in 10 cities of the Sverdlovsk Region.

The museum’s date of birth is December 29, 1870 (January 10, 1871).
