National Museum of Sweden - Museum of Art and Design. Collections include painting, sculpture, portrait miniatures, crafts, design, drawings, graphic magazines, and portrait photography.

Collections of paintings, sculptures and art on paper date from about 1500-1900. Collections of handmade and design items begin in the late Middle Ages and continue to this day. The total number of objects is about 700,000.

The National Museum also operates the National Portrait Collection, which consists of portraits from the 15th century to the present. This also includes portrait photography.
