Museum "Art of Omsk"

The City Museum "Art of Omsk" (GMO) was created on February 21, 1991.
The task of the GMIO as a museum is to reflect the richness and originality of the cultural environment that has developed in Omsk, to leave to posterity works created by artists, photographers, designers, to form an information base for the art and culture of Omsk.

The most striking collections of the museum are the collections of artists of the “sixties” (N.Ya. Tretyakova, V.V. Kukuytseva, L.A. Zotikova, E.V. Smirnova, N.M. Bryukhanov, V.I. Bichevoy, E. N. Pastukhova and others); a collection of works and documents of participants in art associations of the late 1980s - early 1990s: "ECHO", "Cross", "SKIT", "Pupils of Glazunov"; works of representatives of contemporary art: D. Muratov, A. Muratov, A. Titov, D. Wirge, S. Baranov, T. Dashkova, A. Tereshkina, N. Pozdnyakova, I. Nikolaev.
