According to Marina Piezolo, an art historian from Italy, Vitaly Tarasov's paintings are the world of Russian expression, Russian fairy tale, the world of fantasy, the world of life, which pulsates in every object and stroke. His paintings strike an extraordinary fantasy, which makes you dizzy. Tarasov's canvases reveal the life that we do not notice. The nature in his paintings is his soul, the soul that connects with the spirit to awaken after a long sleep. It takes a lot of looking at the canvas to discern the vibrating light on the horizon, which also gives us the strength that pushes us to awaken. He died on December 12, 2010. His paintings are in private collections and galleries in Russia, Europe and America.
