People's artist of the Uzbek SSR.

(R. 30.12.1918, Turkestan, the Kazakh SSR), painter, honoured art worker of the Uzbek SSR (1950). Studied at the Samarkand art school (1931-36), L. L. Bure, 3. M. Kowalewski and P. Benkov and in the Moscow art Institute (1938-41) at the VP Efanova, and A. A. Osmerkin. The author of portraits: of Hero of Socialist Labor N. Niyazov (1949, Museum of art of Oriental peoples, Moscow), writer Aybek (1949, Museum of art of the Uzbek SSR, Tashkent), "Niece Shahla" (1960, Tretyakov gallery); playwright C. asana (1960, art Museum of the Uzbek SSR), writer I. Rahim (1967, the Art Fund of the Uzbek SSR). Awarded the order of Labor red banner and medals.
