He graduated from Nizhny Tagil state pedagogical Institute (art-graphic faculty) in 1978, Member of the USSR Union since 1989, a member of the Ministry of agriculture since 2001 Since 1979, the participant of exhibitions in Russia and abroad. Awarded Grand Prix and diploma of all-Union exhibitions and international biennials (1989, 1994, 1995). Personal exhibitions in Moscow, Nizhny Tagil, Yekaterinburg, Kaliningrad, Tallinn, Vilnius. Is engaged in easel painting and graphics, as well as installations and other forms of contemporary art. Works are in state Tretyakov gallery, state Russian Museum, State. the Museum of Oriental art, the Museum of modern art, State. the Museum of contemporary history of Russia, and also in museums of Kaliningrad, Nizhny Tagil, Yekaterinburg, Orel, Novosibirsk, galleries Perm, Orel, Vilnius, Tallinn, Ufa, Kurgan.
