Karlovich Grandkovsky

(11.2.1864, Saratov — 5.5. 1907, Penza), painter. Studied at MUZHVZ (1880). Received in 1885 and 1886 small, 1888 large silver medal and the title of a classic artist. Up to 1897 he lived in Moscow, later in Penza. Participated in exhibitions MUZHVZ, mulch, etc. the society Works: "Portrait of the writer N. N. Zlatovratski (1st prize at the competition molh, 1894), "to Swim" (2-nd prize in the contest mAh, 1895), "In the artist's Studio" (1902), "the Military train", "Mobilization" (1905) and other Works Gradkowski stored in the state Tretyakov gallery ("portrait of the artist K. A. Savitsky" — 1902), PKG ("Far from home" — 1896 "Male portrait" — 1904), Saratov. UM ("Model", "home of the grave"), Yekaterinburg. KG ("Peasant boy"), etc. the Exhibition of his works was held in 1907 in Penza. At the exhibition TPHV in Penza exhibited paintings Gradkowski: in 1898, "Swim", "Home", in 1901 — "the Funeral". He taught at the PHU (1897-1907) and the Penza theological Seminary.

Nicholas Gradkowski, was educated in Moscow (the Moscow school of painting from 1880), the city of Saratov. At various times he was sent to Saratov more than a dozen of his works.

Nikolai Karlovich received in 1885 and 1886 small, 1888 large silver medal and the title of a classic artist. Gradkowski to 1897 he lived in Moscow.

At the invitation of K. A. Savitsky, head of the art school, Nicholas Gradkowski among other Moscow artists (K. A. Klodt, P. I. Korovin, N. To.Zhukov) came to Penza. Nikolai Karlovich taught at PHU (from 1897 to 1907) and the Penza theological Seminary.

Gradkowski participated in exhibitions MUZHVZ, mulch, society and others. Many paintings have received awards at competitions: "Portrait of the writer N. N.
