Osipovich Bruni

Russia • 1767−1826

Painter, a native Italian, from 1807 lived in Russia; 1808-1817 served as "master of stucco, paintings and sculptures of the shop" when the Tsar's palaces. According to P. I. Bartenev (according to P. A. Vyazemsky and V. F.), Bruni worked "at the court of the restoration of paintings". From 1825 academician.

"Free painter". In 1815-"designated"; in the same year the title of academician of St. Petersburg. Academy of Arts for the "Suffering of job". (Kondakov)
