Vladimirovich Vorobiev

B. 04.05.1962, Kamianets-Podilskyi(Khmelnytskyi oblast, Ukrainian SSR).

Until 1981 he lived in Novosibirsk. He studied at SHPT (1981-86).

Artist CAM (Aleksandrov, Vladimir region) in 1986-90, freelance artist (1990). Member of the artists Union (1996). Member of the Board of SPO of the artists Union (since 2004).

Working in the field of artistic wood processing. The main area of creativity is the creation of a wooden sculpture of small forms. Also engaged in painting, graphics, design.

Performed works (wood, carved): "Polkan-Archer", "Princes" (both 1998), "Magi", "Meeting", "Tsar Tsar Solomon," "Hercules Samson" (1999), "Christmas", "the Grand Duke", "Jacob with the angel" (2000), "the bird Seller", "Bear beating king Herod", "Noah", "Family walk" (2001), "The Piper", "Family outing. (Above Center)", "Winged janitor" (2002), "the jester" (2003).

Participant of exhibitions (since 1986), including: IX and X all-Russian art exhibition "Russia" (M., 1999, 2004), all-Russian art exhibition "Boldino autumn" (Moscow, 1999), all-Russian art exhibition "Rebirth" dedicated to the 2000th anniversary of Christianity (in Kostroma, 1999), all-Russian art exhibition "to Thy Name" (Moscow, 2000), "Autumn salon" (Sergiev Posad, 1997, 1999, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004).
