Graduated from Odessa art College Institute. I. E. Repin in Saint-Petersburg - 1959., completed postgraduate studies at the Studio of the B. V. Joganson, 1962.

Since 1962 he lives and works in Vladivostok, where at the beginning he participated in the creation of the far Eastern Academy of arts, the Dean of the art Department, and from 1973 to 1993 was its rector. Currently engaged in creative work as painter and teaches at the Academy of arts painting, drawing and composition.
