Honored artist of the RSFSR.
Born in N. Novgorod. Studied in the studios of A. O. Karelin, L. M. Diamond (N.Novgorod) and at the architectural Department of the Warsaw Polytechnic Institute (1916-1919). A theatre designer, and worked as a painter. From 1924-1959.- the artist Gorky drama theatre.
Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1938.
Participant of exhibitions since 1912. Exhibitor of the Republican art exhibition (Moscow 1957).
