Painter, Nar. hood. Kyrgyz.SSR (1966). Graduated from the Voronezh art.-PED. College (1930). From 1930 he lived and worked in Kyrgyzstan. Landscape, genre and landscape paintings, "the Return from field work" (1945), "the watering place" (1947), "Spring in the mountains of Tien-Shan" (1955), "In Chong-Kemin winter came" (1956), "the Horsemen" (1960) and other works.

People's artist of the Kyrgyz Republic, laureate of the State prize of the Kirghiz SSR behalf Toktogula.

He was born 28 Mar 1906 in Valuyki Belgorod region. Graduated from the Voronezh art College (1926-1930). In Kyrgyzstan since 1930. Participant in the creation of the Union of artists of Kyrgyzstan, the first national art exhibitions, the first Director (1934) Art gallery (now the G. im. After G. Aitiev). Participant of exhibitions since 1934. Member of the Union of artists since 1934.

Died 12 March 1999.

In the fine arts of Kyrgyzstan came as the singer of the mountain nature and as the author of the industrial paintings devoted to the construction of mountainous Toktogul HPP. Along with lyric and industrial landscapes Ignatiev created and genre paintings, portraits. In such films as "Return to field work," "In the Chon-Kemin winter came" created a poetic image of Kyrgyzstan. In the paintings dedicated to the industrialization of Kyrgyzstan ("Hanging bridges over the Naryn", "Climbers", "Naryn blocked"), which is a kind of artistic chronicle of the construction of the HPP, the artist skillfully subdued lyrical warehouse of his talent the grandeur of the building, the grandeur of the mountains, the labor of man.
