Born in the city of OSA in Perm province. From 1922 to 1927 he studied in VHUTEINe-the higher art school in Leningrad under V. M. Konashevich, M. V. Matyushin, V. E. Savinsky. Since 1934, participated in exhibitions since 1934 international. Collaborated in the magazines "Siskin", "Hedgehog", "Young proletarian", "Fire". Always worked in Detizdat. 1934 attended the experimental lithographic workshop. He died in Leningrad in 1946
