He graduated from the Riga architectural and art school (1951), Yelets art school (1956). Participant of the exhibition "Soviet Russia" (1957) and young artists dedicated to the world festival of youth and students in Moscow. The main theme of creativity - the landscape of Smolensk, portraits and still lifes, genre scenes. Since 1974, he annually worked in Sloboda (the settlement of Przhevalskoye, Demidov district). K. - participant of regional, zonal, Republican, all-Union exhibitions and three solo exhibitions. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.
