Biography and information

Thanks to the efforts of A. Venetsianov was bought out of serfdom, studied at the school founded by the great artist for such gifted children. Only when entering a volunteer at the Academy of fine arts (1840) Fedor got a Slavic surname.

After graduating from the Academy F. Slavic works as a drawing teacher in St. Petersburg schools and paints interiors of rooms, workshops, halls and rooms of houses and palaces of famous people.

Highly prized portraits of F. Slavic, which he in his work has paid adequate attention to. It is a "Portrait of V. K. Shebuev" (1852), the artist was awarded the title of academician.

Venetsianov (studied it in the context. 1830s - early 1840s), 1840 - an auditor student AH, 1854 - art teacher in the Forest and took part in the tah, 1862-75 - in Central and of Peter's wives. the public schools in St. Petersburg. Among proizv. S. - "the old Woman with a stick" (con. 1830s, RM), "self-Portrait"(1850 -ies., RM), "Portrait of V. K. Shebuev" (1852, TG). In Tver. lips.
