(1868, Moscow - 1918). Studied at the drawing school V. S. Rozanova in Moscow. Then he studied at the school of V. E. Makovsky, V. D. Polenov, I. Pryanishnikov. In 1891 he Received the title of class artist. The owner of two small and one large silver medal. In 1912 he visited Italy. Participated in the exhibitions AH, molch, PCT, and in 1888 he Performed the illustrations to the works of N. In. Gogol, the novels of M. Y. Lermontov. Works of the artist are in the Tretyakov gallery, in many regional museums.
