Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.
In his youth he lived in Tsarskoe Selo. Formal artistic education is not received, used the advice of one of the most outstanding teachers of the St. Petersburg Imperial Academy of fine arts, p. P. Chistyakov (1832-1919).
Was friends and worked with the artist K. I. Rozhdestvensky. In 1939 he was the chief artist of the USSR pavilion at the world exhibition in new York.
Works of the artist are in many regional museums, in private collections in Russia and abroad.
