Biography and information

Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Honored artist of Russia.

Born at the station Mango in Northern Manchuria in China in 1928.

In 1951 he graduated from the Saratov art school and in 1953 he worked in the artistic production workshops of the Saratov Association "Artist".

From 1953 to 1957, the artist lived in the city of Saransk and worked in the Mordovian book publishing house, and in 1958 moved to Saratov.

From 1960 to 1978 Lavrinenko taught at the Saratov art school and led the Studio of Amateur artists in the Regional House of folk art.

In 2001, Ruslan l'vovich Lavrinenko was awarded the title of honored artist of Russia.

Ruslan Lvovich is an active member of the group, regional, zonal, Republican and international exhibitions. His works are in Radischevskaya Museum, the Engels local history Museum, wolska art gallery, Mordovian picture gallery, in art galleries and private collections in Israel, Japan, China, Sweden, Germany, USA, Yugoslavia and Ukraine.
