Varfolomeevich Leblanc

Painter. He graduated from the Moscow school of painting (1907), studied at hood. Acad. and in the Studio of Henri Matisse in Paris (1910-12). He was one of the founders of the Association "Free art". From 1910 a member of the CPX. From 1913 he taught in his own Studio in Moscow. Author of landscapes, still lifes and other works. Also known as a graphic and theatre. artist.

He graduated from the Moscow School of painting, sculpture and architecture in 1907. Studied at the Imperial Academy of Arts. Went to Paris, where he attended the Academy "de La Grand Chaumiere" (de la Grande Chaumiere), as well as the Studio of Henri Matisse (1910-1912).

Participant of exhibitions from 1894 was one of the founders of the Association "Free art". Exhibited at the exhibitions of the Association of traveling Art Exhibitions, associations "World of art", "Fire-color", "Jack of diamonds". He taught in his workshop in Moscow since 1913 Worked as a graphic artist and stage designer.

Works of the artist are in the Tretyakov gallery and many Moscow and regional museums.

Put up for auction the painting was exhibited in the state Tretyakov gallery (1989); in CHR (Moscow, 1990).
