Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR. Honored art worker of the RSFSR, Professor.

Was born in Moscow. In 1927-30 he studied at Moscow state College of fine arts in memory of the uprising of 1905 he Graduated from art-graphic faculty MGPI. In 1956 admitted to the Union of artists of the USSR. He taught watercolor at the painting and graphic faculty of the Moscow pedagogical Institute, led watercolor classes at the Moscow art school of the Academy of arts of the USSR. Among his pupils were S. Andriyaka, A. Sidorov, V. Glebov. Throughout his work, the artist constantly changing the technique of writing, select oil, watercolor.
