Biography and information

Muralist. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

Born in 1903 in a. Jablonka Arzamas district of Nizhny Novgorod province.

In 1923-1925 he studied at the Nizhny Novgorod art College in A. Kuprin and A. Fonvizin. From 1925 to 1930 he studied at VKhUTEMAS have L. Bruni, P. Kuznetsov, V. Favorsky, N. Chernysheva. Over the years of study thoroughly examines the history of art, the subtleties of the technique and technology of painting skills. The artist works in different genres: easel painting, monumental painting, mosaics, sgraffito.

Seraphim Pavlovsky author of such monumental and decorative works like towers Karamyshevskaya gateway to the Moscow-Volga, the ceiling of the second floor lobby of the Theater of the red Army, the mosaic at the metro station "Dobryninskaya" clearance metro "Botanical garden".
