Was born in Kiev. Studied with A. Murashko. He participated in the Kiev exhibitions: group "Ring" (1914), Kiev, t-VA artists (from 1916 was a member of the t-VA), MT-VA leaders of the Ukrainian plastic arts (1918). In 1920 he settled in the Kingdom of CXC (Serbs, Croats and Slovenes). He studied at the Academy of arts in Zagreb under Professor M. angle. Wrote still lifes, portraits, landscapes and multi-figured compositions. Executed portraits of king Alexander and members of the Royal family. Participated in the Exhibition of Association of Russian artists in the Kingdom of CXC (1928) and a Large exhibition of Russian art in Belgrade (1930). He exposed his works in Zagreb, Ljubljana, Rome (1927) and Paris (salon Islands of French artists – 1928; gallery G., Petit – 1932). The works were acquired by museums of Zagreb and Belgrade. In 1937 he settled in Paris, where he held a number of solo exhibitions. In the 1960s he moved to London. Participated in group exhibitions in London and new York.

Petit (1932) Charpentier (1937), Bosc (1948, 1950), Durand-Ruel (1951, 1952, 1955), has regularly exposed his works in the Salons: Autumn, Tuileries). The works were acquired by museums of Zagreb and Belgrade. In 1937 he settled in Paris, where he held a number of solo exhibitions. At this time creates many beautiful portraits of famous persons of the time: actors, writers, members of the Royal families of Europe. Among his customers was K. gable, G. Dietrich, the family of E. Remarque, K., Chanel, etc. In the 1960s he moved to London. Participated in group exhibitions in London and new York. Works are in the Museum of modern art in Madrid, the GM of Belgrade, new York, etc.
