Was born in Kharkov. 1905-1909 he studied at the school of drawing and painting in Kharkov. 1919 - he organized and became the scientific Director of the restoration workshop at the State Tretyakov gallery. One-temporarily taught in Moscow and Kharkov. The author of scientific works on restoration of an oil painting. Exhibitions: 1924 – exhibition of paintings of Moscow society "Fire-color", Moscow; 1925 – 4 art, Moscow, Russia. and Died in Moscow.

... He was born in the Ryazan province, in 1909, he graduated from the Kharkov school of drawing and painting, and a year later, after moving to Moscow, he continued his studies with M. Larionov. In 1918 he had his first solo exhibition, and one of the paintings ("Polisher") was acquired by the Tretyakov gallery... And stayed with him for life, and bore him a son.

Rybnikov hot is taken for Museum business in the people's Commissariat (1919-1920), creates the restoration workshops of the Tretyakov gallery (1919), then as their permanent leader for 30 years, teaches at the art Institute named after V. ...There have been setbacks, but uncreative plan. For example, in 1941, before the evacuation (which he organized brilliantly so that one "storage unit") petitioned for acceptance into the vaults of the Tretyakov gallery of art works by Leonid Pasternak, but the Director refused to accept them.

The third personal exhibition of Alexey Rybnikov took place forty years after his death.
