Born July 17, 1927 in the town of Tobolsk, Tyumen region.

In 1932 the family moved to Sverdlovsk.

After graduating from high school in 1943, he entered Sverdlovsk art school.Shadr, from which he graduated with honors in 1948, and in the same year he entered the Leningrad Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture.Repin.

In 1954 graduated from the Leningrad Institute.

From 1954 to 1957 he studied at the graduate Institute.

Since 1954 a member of the Union of artists of the RSFSR.

Since 1957, the participant of regional, Republican, all-Union and foreign exhibitions of Soviet art in Brazil, Japan, Germany and Cuba.

1966 Biennale in Venice.

Participated in public life: he was a great Chairman of the arts Council, Regional and national exhibition Committee, Secretary of the Union of artists of Russia and the Soviet Union.

From 1985 to 1987 – Chairman of the Sverdlovsk branch of Union of artists of Russia.

From 1990 to 2000 he taught spetsdystsyplin in the Yekaterinburg art College named.And.D.Shadr.

Awarded the Silver medal of the Academy of Arts, order of the badge of Honor, government certificates.

In 1965 awarded the title of Honored art worker of the RSFSR.

In 1973, the Title of people's Artist of the RSFSR.
