Pavlovich Filatchev

He studied at the Moscow higher art-industrial school (b. Stroganov) at the faculty of monumental painting at M. Maximova and Vladimir Kozlinsky. He worked as a lecturer at the Department of drawing at MVHPU.

Major works: painting "the Cossacks of the don" in the tasting pavilion "Sarmat" the Institute of winemaking (Novocherkassk); tapestry "the Wedding" for nursing (Truskavets); painting "Students" at the Institute of oil and gas. I. M. Gubkin (Moscow) and others.

A member of the artists Union from 1968 To 1978 he was elected as a corresponding member of the USSR Academy of arts. Associate Professor of the Department of monumental and decorative painting MVHPU, member of the Board of the USSR Union. Awarded medals, winner of. Chairman of the Council on the export of works abroad of the Ministry of culture of the USSR. Since 1988 – member of the Academy of fine arts

Of the Soviet Union. Honored artist of the RSFSR. Since 1968, the permanent participants

nick zonal, all-Union and foreign exhibitions.

He was born in 1937 in Moscow. In 1964 he graduated from the Moscow higher art-industrial school (b. Stroganov) and was left for a teaching job at the Department of drawing, then at the Department of monumental and decorative painting. From 1969 to 1972 O. Filatchev worked in the creative Studio under the direction of academician G. M. Korzhev. His teachers were such well-known great artists as V. Kotlinski, S. Gerasimov, N. Maksimov. Communication with them allowed the young artist not only to comprehend the basics of professional skills, but also to find their place in art. For work created in this workshop, O. Filatchev received in 1972 silver medal of the USSR Academy of arts.

More than 15 years in Filatchev teaching, being the head of personal creative workshop, which produced many talented muralists.
