Born in 1913 in the village of Labani in the Smolensk region. A graduate of the art faculty of Moscow textile Institute. Student A. V. Kuprin And P. P. Pashkov, A. V. Shevchenko. During the great Patriotic war was the commander of anti-aircraft guns in the rank of Sergeant.
Since 1965 member of the Union of artists of the USSR.
Constantly worked in the field of decoration of public buildings, malls, exhibitions, including international ones. Many have toured the country. On his easel was always a few paintings that he devoted all of his free time.
The artist's life was cut short at the age of 86-a-half years with brush in hand... Buried at the Pyatnitskoye cemetery in Moscow.
