Biography and information

Painter. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR.

In the 1960s Fomichev has become a Mature master with a developed creative style that does not depend on changing tastes and directions in the official art. He is a staunch realist, value of painting the thoroughness, persuasiveness of images and juicy texture. Fomichev worked quickly, with a broad pastous stroke , allowing you to fill the canvas with energy. It's a free sweeping letter makes known all of his work: still lifes, portraits, genre and historical paintings, many landscapes, including urban ones. His "Trinity Cathedral" has long been a hallmark of the master.

In the 1960s and 1970s Fomichev-traveled Golden Ring, the Caucasus, Moscow suburbs, the Volga region.
