1936, July 10. S. Costa was born in the North Ossetian ASSR.

1945-1955. Studying in secondary school S. Costa.

1955-1958. Served in the Navy.

1958-1960. Working in the factory "Electrozinc" in the city of Ordzhonikidze.

1960, 1972, 1977, 1980

Awarded certificates: VDNKH in Moscow for participation in Amateur, the North-Ossetian regional Committee of Komsomol as a participant of the Republican exhibition of young artists, pedagogical and creative activities in honor of the anniversary of the 60 - and 63-th anniversary of the Great October revolution.

1961 – 1964. Received higher education in Ordzhonikidze pedagogical College at the graphic art Department.

1965-1971. Studying in the Leningrad order of Labor red banner Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture. I. E. Repin in the Studio of people's artist of the USSR Y. M. Neprintsev.

1974. Became a member of the Union of artists.

1974-1978. Teaches in Ordzhonikidze art school.

1979, 1980, 1982. The creative journey with a group of artists in Bulgaria.

1981. Awarded the title of honoured artist of the ASSR.

1981, 1982. Was elected delegate of the V Congress of the RSFSR artists, the VI Congress of Soviet artists.

1985. Awarded the Silver medal of the USSR Academy of arts for "the Best works of fine art" ("Kirov in the Caucasus", "farewell to the poet", "Wedding").

1985, 4 Dec. Died in the city of Ordzhonikidze.
